We want clients to feel comfortable raising a concern.
A complaint will not affect your right to receive professional and respectful service.
Step 1: Tell us what happened
Please contact:
Rajesh Pawar
Email: contact@rajeshpawar.com
Phone: +61450041504
Include:
- your name and contact details
- the client or entity concerned
- the service the complaint relates to
- what happened
- any important dates
- copies of relevant documents
- the outcome you are seeking.
You do not need to use formal or legal language.
Step 2: We will review the complaint
We will:
- acknowledge the complaint within 3 business days
- review the relevant facts and records
- ask for more information where needed
- explain the outcome and any action we propose.
We aim to provide a substantive response within 20 business days. More complex matters may take longer. If that happens, we will keep you informed.
Possible outcomes
Depending on the issue, we may:
- explain what occurred
- correct an error
- complete or repeat work
- update a return, statement or form where appropriate
- improve a process
- provide further information
- discuss fees
- apologise where we did not meet the expected standard
- explain why we do not agree with the complaint.
Complaints involving another client or confidentiality
We may be limited in what we can tell you where a complaint involves another person, confidential information or a legal restriction.
We will still explain our response as clearly as we reasonably can.
Complaints about tax agent services
You may make a complaint to the Tax Practitioners Board about a tax agent service.
You do not have to complete our internal process before contacting the TPB, although raising the issue with us first may allow it to be resolved more quickly.
- TPB complaints process: tpb.gov.au/complaints
- TPB complaint form: TPB online complaint form
The TPB is independent of our practice.
Privacy concerns
A concern about how your information has been collected, used, stored or disclosed may also be raised under our:
Privacy and Confidentiality Notice
Records of complaints
We keep an internal record of complaints and the actions taken. This helps us identify recurring problems and improve our systems.
No retaliation
We will not treat you unfairly because you made a genuine complaint.
