How we use service providers and technology

We use accounting, tax, payroll, email, document-management and other technology systems to provide our services. Depending on the services you engage us to provide, information relating to your affairs may be stored or processed using providers such as:

  • Xero
  • QuickBooks
  • Myaccountant
  • Microsoft 365
  • tax preparation and lodgment software
  • other approved professional service providers.

We take reasonable steps to restrict access to authorised users and protect client information.

We may also use authorised staff or contractors to assist with administrative work, bookkeeping, payroll processing and preparation work.

Some work may be performed by an authorised overseas contractor. The contractor will not provide tax advice, communicate directly with clients or lodge documents. Their work will be supervised and reviewed by Rajesh Pawar.

We will obtain your permission before information relating to your affairs is made available to an overseas contractor. Further details, including where the contractor is located and the type of information they may access, will be provided through our engagement documents or a separate consent form.

You may ask us for more information about how your information will be handled before giving your permission.

Artificial intelligence

We may use approved technology tools, including artificial intelligence tools, to assist with limited data-processing or administrative tasks.

We do not intentionally enter unredacted tax file numbers, identity documents or other confidential client information into a general-purpose artificial intelligence tool.

Any output used in providing a tax agent service is subject to human review. Responsibility for the final work and advice remains with the registered tax agent.
